WeChat Weekly Ranking- Destinations, Airlines and Cruises – Week 20-26 March

NTOs:  The top 5 NTOs of the week were Tourism Authority of Thailand, Destination Canada, Japan National Tourism Organization, Brand USA and Tourism Australia, who received a total number of page views between 55,000 and 33,000.

NTOs:  The top 5 NTOs of the week were Tourism Authority of Thailand, Destination Canada, Japan National Tourism Organization, Brand USA and Tourism Australia, who received a total number of page views between 55,000 and 33,000. The next runner up, Czech Tourism, only received 7,000 page views, marking a large gap.

DMOs: For the first time this week, Tourism Tasmania entered the top three positions at number 2 with the DMO’s most read article of the week at 10,000 page views. The post featured the unusual natural phenomenon of bioluminescence at Preservation Bay in Tasmania, which gave rise to a spectacular glittering of the ocean.

Airlines and Cruise Lines: After nearly two months of undisputed leadership in the first position with average total page views between 200,000 to 300,000 per week, last week Air Asia dropped off the list not having published any articles. The most read article was a contest to win two return flights Hong Kong – Vancouver, offered to promote the opening of the new route by Hong Kong Airlines.

Royal Caribbean International once again came in the top spot and also published the most read article among cruise lines, announcing the appointment of Taiwanese artist Lin Zhiying as brand ambassador.
