
The first 200 Chinese travel agents to complete the Brazil Travel Specialist program were awarded with physical certificates
Dragon Trail International is supporting Brazil on its new international tourism outreach to China, with new B2C and B2B marketing channels launched at ITB China in May 2026.
2026 is the China-Brazil Year of Culture, and Brazil implemented a 30-day visa-free policy for Chinese tourists and business travelers from 11 May of this year. Two weeks later at ITB China, Embratur – Brazil’s national tourism board – officially launched a new training program for the Chinese travel trade, together with four new Chinese social media accounts, and an official Chinese-language website. Each of these marketing initiatives is managed by Dragon Trail.

On the trade side, the new Brazil Travel Specialist training program is available through Dragon Trail’s China Travel Academy, and also promoted through our partnerships with Ctrip Offline Stores School and Utour Academy. More than 1,600 Chinese travel agents have already registered for the course, with more than 1,000 having completed the training and received their official Brazil Travel Specialist certificate.
Dragon Trail has helped Embratur to establish four new accounts on Chinese social media: WeChat, WeChat Channels (video account), RedNote, and Weibo, and we are currently managing each of these. We also opened Brazil’s new Chinese website, https://visitbrasil.com.cn/.
Embratur officially launched its digital presence in China and the Brazil Travel Specialist program on 26 May at ITB China in Shanghai. Dragon Trail also helped to invite Chinese travel trade visitors at ITB to attend the launch event.
