Tencent’s annual innovation competition challenges developers to create WeChat mini-programs based on business briefs from 10 participating sponsor organizations, mostly from the tourism and hospitality industry. Around 40 vendors, including Dragon Trail, participated in this year’s challenge. In total, Dragon Trail’s team submitted nine entries, six of which were among the 50 short-listed entries invited to present on 16 June in Shenzhen.

The Weixin Developer Challenge features stops in various world regions throughout the year, including the Middle East and Europe, and Dragon Trail looks forward to participating in more of these competitions and creating more WeChat mini-program solutions for global tourism brands in the future.
